Things That Make You Go "Yikes"

Actual class offered at my community college:

"The Geography of Vampires: From Folk to Pop Culture."

Explore the true story behind vampires and how they went from hideously feared creatures of the night to the romantic, enamoring immortals of today. The legend of the vampire goes back thousands of years and spans many continents. Interwoven into the folklore of numerous cultures around the world, it transcends both time and geographic boundaries.

I wonder if the instructor will provide an explanation for sparkling.

10 Things I Hate About Star Trek

This is hilarious.

I usually don't laugh out loud over things I read on the Internet, because to be frank, most of them aren't that funny. Even The Onion, in my opinion, proves the rule rather than the exception.

This, however, is genuinely funny. Too bad there's no indication who wrote it--that person would definitely have a future in comedy.
